$100 Halloween Giveaway on X

This giveaway is run by Shop Sunlight ("Sponsor"), Sackville, Nova Scotia. Questions: info@shopsunlight.ca.

02Contest period

The giveaway opens on October 16, 2026 and closes on October 29, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Atlantic Time (the "Contest Period").

03Eligibility

Open to legal residents of the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM), Nova Scotia, who are 18 or older at the time of entry. Employees of Sponsor and their immediate family members are not eligible. Limit one entry per person.

04How to enter

During the Contest Period, do all three of the following:

1. Follow @ShopSunlight001 on X.
2. Retweet the official giveaway post.
3. Complete a free solar estimate at shopsunlight.ca, including your name and email in the contact step.

Entries that are incomplete, received after the deadline, or made using multiple accounts or automated means will be disqualified.

05Prize

One (1) $100 Home Depot gift card. The prize must be accepted as awarded. It has no cash value and cannot be transferred or substituted, except by Sponsor, who may substitute a prize of equal or greater value. The Home Depot is not a sponsor of this giveaway and is not affiliated with Shop Sunlight.

06Draw and odds

One entrant will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries on October 30, 2026. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. This giveaway is separate from any other Shop Sunlight giveaway.

07Winner confirmation

The selected entrant will be contacted by direct message on X or by email. To claim the prize, they must, within 72 hours of being contacted:

• confirm their X handle and the email they used on shopsunlight.ca, so Sponsor can verify they completed all three entry steps, and
• correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question without assistance.

If the selected entrant does not respond in time, did not complete all entry steps, or answers the question incorrectly, they forfeit the prize and a new entrant will be drawn.

08Personal information

Entry information (name, email, address, and the details entered in the solar estimate) is used to run this giveaway and contact the winner. Entering does not sign you up for marketing. Your details go to our installer partner only if you choose to book a call, and Sponsor will not sell your information.

09Publicity

With the winner's consent, Sponsor may announce the winner's first name and community (for example, "Sarah from Bedford") on its social media.

10Platform release

This giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, X Corp. Entrants release X from any liability related to this giveaway.

11General

Sponsor may disqualify any entry it believes to be fraudulent or in violation of these rules. Sponsor may modify, suspend, or cancel the giveaway if it cannot run as planned. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, or incomplete entries or for technical failures. These rules are governed by the laws of Nova Scotia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
